Hogar was born as a result of the workshop The Body as Work and Destiny coordinated by Marina Otero during 2017.
“June 2020: The country is plunged into great darkness. Outside there is a war. Bubblegum pink vs. cobalt blue. It is winter, but the sun is still burning. The streets are empty, the buildings are riddled with bullets, and the windows of every home are closed. We are subjected to darkness, but I feel an ecstasy of destruction that makes me feel alive.”
