Recordar para vivir is a project by Marina Otero based on building an unfinished work. A work in permanent change like life. A life lived as the work-in-progress of a work that justifies it. As the performer grows, the work transforms into different sketches - works.

The three works that complete the first trilogy are: Andrea (2012), Remember 30 years to live 65 minutes (2015) and Fuck me (2020)

Ten years have passed and this work does not let me go: thinking about it, rehearsing it, acting it out. Made from scraps of my life, parts of another old work, past loves and things I have already killed, it is always another sketch of that other incomplete and endless work that will only end when I die. It is like this: I open the doors to show the archived documents, the misplaced secrets, the stolen photos and my first 30 years reconstructed. Every time I do it it will be the first and the last time .” - MO
